What do you notice first? Is it the fact the three colors are evenly separated around the color wheel? You can create a full variety of these by putting the triangle points on a different trio.  These color schemes are very vibrant.  The work stays vibrant event if you use less saturated versions of your colors.  For this scheme to be successful you really have to know how to balance the colors you are playing with. Creating with one color being dominant and the others as accents often creates good work.
