PleinAirSouth Convention & Prussian Blue??

Just returned from PleinAir South convention.  Learned soooooo much! A color many of the accomplished artists were using in lieu of pthalo was Prussian Blue.  So, it has been ordered and will be given a try!  Learned lots about quality of transparents and this is supposed to be in that family.  There are many interesting things about this color.  It is the first synthetic color.  It was produced by accident when trying to create a red in the 1700's. It even has a secret life -- it is an antidote for some types of heavy metal poisoning. Wow -- who would of guessed?  It was making beautiful blues and mixes on many palettes around Apalachicola during the convention.  So - my pthalo is going on the shelf for now.  After using it for a bit there will be a post about how it affected my works!
