Busy Busy Busy
I have been so busy with family, my new community, school and both Live Oak Art League and the Texas Pastel Society I haven't posted anything in this blog since May. So sorry! I am loving going to a pastel class once per week. Keeps my active with my pastels even when Im in a slump.....and I've been elected as the 2025 Texas Pastel Society president. Like I said-busy, busy, busy!
I am also still adjusting to Texas after moving from Florida. Not quite there yet as acclimating slowly. Did spend a week in the Hill Country in a beautiful little town called Kerrville for a week long Plein air event with Outdoor Painters Society. Met lots of wonderful new artists.
Im not painting as much as I want to but have been creating fairly steadily. Still haven't gotten back into painting something even if it is small on a daily basis. Here it is wrapped for travel to where it will be on display. It's been almost 2 years since I have painted with my oils Plein air due to moving, etc. Also spent a day painting Plein air at one of the San Antonio missions which are very inspirational.
.
So--- hopefully I won't wait months before I update this blog again.
